Michael Walker is simply one of the best known and collectable knife makers working today. A full time maker since 1980, he holds four U.S. patents, including perhaps his best known one for the modern day linerlock. He makes folders, from users to museum quality, from state of the art materials like titanium, stainless damascus, gold, etc. He has numerous innovative designs and locking systems to his credit, and his “Zipper” blades are arguably the most sought after blade in all of knife collecting. Every serious collection would have to include at least one Michael Walker knife.
