This incredible folder from John measures 6" open, 3 1/2" closed, and has a 2 1/2" blade of John's own hot blued damascus. The bolsters, bail, and thumb stud are all sculpted from 18k gold, as are all of the screws. The carved scales are absolute premium black lip mother of pearl. The titanium liners are fileworked and anodized gold to match the bolsters. The blade has 18k gold inlays on the top and reverse side, and John's last name is spelled out in gold as well. The hot blued damascus backspacer is fileworked inside and out, and there are gold inlays on both sides as well. John is considered one of the best folder makers in the world, and this is a prime example of his talent. Pieces like this are hard to find, so get it while you can.
