Without a doubt, Robert was one of the finest knifemakers to have ever worked in the profession, and this knife is another example of why. Measuring 7" open, just under 4" closed, and with a 3" blade length, this knife is pure perfection. The blade is very finely satin finished, and the bolsters are highly polished. The white mother of pearl scales have been fluted for a very elegant look and feel. The dual thumb studs are each inlaid with a nice Ruby. The blade is marked with 001, so I am assuming this is the first knife of this design that Robert made. Very solid and very nice, every collection should have at least one of his knives.
