This is one of the last folders that Jim made, and it is a beauty. It measures 8 1/4" open, 4 7/8" closed, and has a 3 3/8" blade. The open and closed measurements are over the substantial sized bail on this knife. Jim's contrasting blade and bolster damascus is awesome, and the rope fileworked raised backspacer is damascus as well. The Sheephorn scales are flawlessly matched from side to side, and are a beautiful touch for this knife. They are held by gold pins. The combination bail and blade release contains a gold pin as well. The liners are stainless steel and fully fileworked, and there is a gold blade stop inside. One terrific knife from a maker who did not make many knives and is extremely sought after by collectors around the world.
