Scott Sawby is a full time knife maker who sold his first knife in 1974. He specializes in integral and interframe folders, both working class and art knives. Many of his knives have been graced with the artwork of some of the top engravers in the world. Some of Scotts patterns include fighters, Persians, and a very unique style of daggers. Scott has developed and holds patents on two of his own locking systems. He uses various steels like D2, 440C, ATS-34, 154CM, and some damascus as well. He uses a wide variety of natural handle materials like Mammoth and other fossil ivory, stone, fossil bone, mother of pearl, and abalone. His knives are very sought after and Scott has a long waiting list.
