This linerlock folder from Vernie is a real work of art. Featuring contrasting patterns of damascus from Robert Eggerling that has been hot blued, and fiery premium white mother of pearl scales, it is destined to be the centerpiece of a fine collection. The pearl scales have been carved, and are held in place with solid 18K gold screws. The thumb stud and bail are carved, solid gold, and the thumb stud is inlaid with a ruby. Additionally, there are five rubies set in gold on the front of each scale. The stainless steel liners are fully fileworked. The backspacer is carved inside and out, inlaid with thirteen carved gold bars, and contains fourteen rubies set in gold. The twenty five total rubies bring out the red in the blade to make this a simply stunning knife. Very smooth with a flawless fit and finish, Vernie has come up with a real show stopper.
