A stag “Smiling Goblin”, or almost “Man in the Moon” looking linerlock folder from Bill with an OAL of 6 1/8” and a 2 5/8” blade. The blade and backspacer are damascus, with the carved backspacer forming the center of the face. This knife has a single liner containing the lock, and both sides are integral with the stag overlaid. The sideplates and liner are all carved into the face theme, along with the end of the stag. The backspacer is carved on the inside as well, and contains an ivory blade stop. The bolsters are engraved in a leaf and acorn motif. The pivot and screws are fileworked, and the liner release is carved. The contoured thumbstud is fileworked and has a ruby inlay. “WM” is carved into the bottom of the blade. Bill made a display stand to go along with it. This is a very unique knife and it is in excellent condition.
