If ever there was a "Dream Team" in knife making, this has got to be it. Two of the absolute legends of steel, Michael Walker and Ron Lake, teamed up a number of years ago to produce a knife. The venture did not get very far, and only a couple of prototypes and six numbered pieces were ever made. This is one of the prototypes that was used for the patent application. This rock solid linerlock folder measures 8 5/8" open, 4 3/4" closed, and has a 3 7/8" blade length. The knife features a slide safety on the reverse side. "Lake & Walker Prototype" is stamped on the blade, and the patent number and "Linerlock" is stamped on the show side handle. Included is the original leather sheath that is also stamped "Lake & Walker Eugene Oregon" You quite likely will never have another chance for a knife like this, so check it out.
