If you're looking for the perfect "heavy duty" Chute knife, this is definitely the one. Like his "Wilderness" model, this half integral "Prototype" Chute from Dietmar is made from 1/4" stock, and measures 10 1/2" in OAL and has a 5 1/2" blade length. The heft and balance of this knife makes it perfect for hunting and/or self defense purposes. The handle slabs are exhibition grade Desert Ironwood, and they are beautiful. Complete with the light tan leather sheath, this is one fine knife from quite likely the best maker in the world of integral knives.
