This prototype lockback automatic from Joe measures 6" open, 3 1/2" closed, and has a 2 3/8" damascus blade. The integral side plates are stainless steel, and each has four black lip mother of pearl inlays. The damascus backspacer is fully fileworked. This is a protype that Joe delivered to me in Solvang. Fast and smooth, it would be a great knife to have your favorite engraver put a nice finishing touch on, but is great just the way it is if you are not a big fan of engraving.
