Ryuichi Kawamura has been a full time knife maker since 2002, but his level of expertise would suggest he has done this all of his life. When one idolizes such makers as Jess Horn, Ron Lake, and Tony Bose, it's hard not to be a success. He specializes in multi-blade slip joint folders, using stainless steel and handle materials like mother of pearls and Rogers Bone. His fit and finish is truly superb, and his knives are a joy to handle.
