This Presentation Hunter is a collaboration between Steve and likely one of his most successful understudies, Ricardo Velarde. While neither maker needs any introduction, it is noteworthy that Steve was Ricardo's early mentor, followed by a lot of time spent with Dietmar Kressler, the best integral maker in the world, This collaboration proves that Ricardo paid attention, and, working here with Steve, the pair have created a museum quality knife. This full integral, one-of-a-kind Hunter is made from BG-42, and measures 8 3/4" in OAL with a 4 1/8" blade. The blade is mirror polished, while the integral handle has a very slight brushed finish. The presentation grade white mother of pearl inlays are set over red fiber spacers, and the leather strap has a solid gold ferrule attached. The blade is stamped with both makers names, state, and USA. They did not originally ship the knife with a sheath, but a nice case is included. Steve's sheath maker, Nate Christensen, will make a nice sheath if wanted for around $75.00. A very unique collectors item, so don't miss it!
