This is perhaps the most unique knife I have ever seen from Rick. The composition, and matching of materials is superb! It is a framelock automatic with a open length of 8 1/2", a closed length of 4 3/4", and it has a 3 3/4"modified Hawkbill blade. The blade is Ricks San Mai damascus that has been hot blued. The handle slabs are nicely textured and fileworked, and overlaid with more of Ricks hot blued damascus. The overlay contains two mother of pearl interframe inlays on each side. The screws and large pivot have a very nice design carved into them, and are multi colored. The backspacer is carved, hot blued, and contains a carved mother of pearl inlay. The release lever is carved and multi colored. They just don't get any more appealing to the eye than this!
