This is number one of Jeff's "Midnight Blue Gamma", a trap door automatic linerlock folder. The knife measures 8 5/8" open, 5" closed, and has a 3 3/4" blade length. The damascus blade and handle slabs are nitre blued, and contrast very nicely with each other. The stainless steel backspacer is heat colored, and features multi-colored recesses. There is a diamond inlaid on each side at the front, and the show side pivot also contains a diamond. Jeff's knives are fast and smooth, and always have a flawless fit and finish. No one makes a trap door release like he does, and few makers will even attempt this difficult mechanism.
