This is Jeff's very first prototype of his Italia. The satin finished blade is 3 7/8" in length, and the OAL is 8 15/16". The SS handle slabs are tapered at the front and rear, drilled, and sand blasted. The inlaid linerlock is notched. The over the blade dual thumbstud is tapered, drilled, and notched, and allows the blade to be deployed with either hand. "Proto", and the date and number are stamped inside the backspacer. A very smooth and well made knife, but then one would expect nothing less of Jeff.
