This is a double action "trap door" linerlock automatic from Jeff, the Italia Mark III. It measures 9 5/8" open, 5 1/2" closed, and has a 4 1/8" blade. The stainless steel body and blade have a very finely rubbed satin finish. The four interframe inlays are Russian Charoite, a fairly rare and magnificent stone. The stainless steel backspacer is fileworked by Jeff, something he does not often do. The over the top dual thumb stud is contoured and notched for easy gripping. The trap door release is as usual from Jeff, flawless, and it is literally impossible to know this is an auto by looking at it. Very smooth with simply a flawless fit and finish, keep it as is, or have your favorite engraver add a few touches.
