Johan is one of the "new breed" of Swedish knife makers, having been at it since he created a hunting knife for himself in 1994. His skills and reputation have grown tremendously, and he was recently featured in David Darom's book "Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives" Johan has become world reknowned for the patterns and colors he achieves in his damascus. He also makes a pretty darned good folder, as evidenced by his incredible popularity. His sole authorship knives generally contain natural materials like fossil ivories or mother of pearls, and most have engraving, carving, and various inlays. A true pioneer who will just keep getting better.
