Antonio Fogarizzu was born with knifemaker's blood in his veins. Following in his fathers footsteps, he started with traditional fixed blades and folders. Determined to make a mark, he branched out, and soon was the very first Italian knifemaker to forge and use his own damascus. He spent some time with world class mosaic damascus forger Steve Schwarzer, and soon was cranking out some of the finest steel to be found anywhere. He also makes stock removal blades from ATS-34 stainless steel, and uses 416 stainless and titanium for some of his handles and liners. He uses many types of natural materials for his handles and interframe inlays, like mother of pearl and fossil Ivories of Mammoth and Walrus. His designs and fit and finish are among some of the finest to be found anywhere. Antonio is a member of the Italian Knifemakers Guild.
