This lockback folder from Kaj is a perfect example of why this makers knives are so sought after. It measures 6 1/2" open, 3 7/8" closed, and has a 2 5/8" blade. The damascus blade and explosion pattern bolsters were forged by Kaj, and contrast beautifully. The Walrus Ivory scales are quite simply stunning, and both the scales and bolsters are carved. The stainless steel liners and backspacer are fully fileworked, and the filework runs up the top of the blade. The blade contains three18K gold balls for opening instead of a nail nick. All pins are 18K gold as is the bail. A flawless knife in every respect, and rock solid, they just don't get much better!
