This single blade "top lock" folder from Emile measures 7 3/4" open, 4 1/4" closed, and has a 3 3/8" highly polished stainless steel blade. The top lock design of this knife is unique to the Drouhin family, and has been made for many many years. The Tortoise scales have been underlaid with gold foil, and are held in place with gold pins. The liners and backspacer are stainless steel. Emile does not make many of this style any longer, so these are very hard to get. A very solid and nice knife, and a rarity from this fourth generation seventy-six year old French knifemaker.
