Emile Drouhin is a fourth generation knifemaker from France. Nearing retirement himself, there is no one to carry on the family tradition of very unique folding knives. Using only the most basic tools, Emile turns out beautiful single and multiple blade folders of designs that have been in the family for years. He specializes in multiple blade folders of various geometric shapes, with the four and six blade circular models perhaps the most popular. Emile finishes nearly all of his stainless steel knives with a high polish, and uses Tortoise as a handle material for many of them. The world reknowned department store chain, Hermes, has carried and sold Emiles knives for many years.
