This magnificent linerlock automatic from George measures 9 3/8" open, 5 1/4" closed, and has a 4 1/4" fighter style blade. The contrasting blade and bolster damascus is stunning, and the fiery, absolutely premium black lip mother of pearl scales are some of the nicest you will ever see, and some of the largest as well. The front bolsters are lightly carved, and the carved stainless steel release lever is inlaid with four diamonds set in 18K gold. The black lip scales are underlaid with a thick liner of 18K gold, and there is a solid 18K gold bar on each end containing diamonds. The front bars have five diamonds each, and the rear bars contain six. The scales are held in place with solid 18K raised gold screws. The stainless steel liners are fully fileworked and heat colored. The damascus backspacer is fileworked, and contains two 18K gold bars with three diamonds each on the outside, and two gold bars with one diamond each on the inside. The top half of the blade spine is fileworked to match the backspacer. The solid gold bail contains 10 diamonds, ascending in size as the bail widens. George makes incredibly few knives these days, so what a treat to find one available of this caliber!
