Gary Blanchard is a full time maker having sold his first knife in 1989. His specialty is fancy art folders containing his patented button release side lock, but makes fixed blade boot knives and daggers as well. Gary likes working with Devin Thomas damascus, and also uses ATS34 and 440C. Most recently, he has been favoring the use of titanium for his beautifully engraved and anodized folder handles He also uses some fossil ivory and other natural materials. Gary makes between ten to twenty knives a year because of the incredible amount of detail involved, and his determination for perfection in each piece he delivers. He currently has factory collaborations with United Cutlery as well that help keep him very busy.
